Hola! We’ve made it to my last guest for Season two! I’m talking with Jen, a functional trainer with Well with JQ. I felt like we could have talked all day about all things fitness & food.
I love how intentional she is when it comes to shifting thought patterns we might have around food and exercise especially in the Latinx community. After this conversation I realize the importance of continuing to challenge past idea around food, and those confusing comments that we hear from family, and actually free ourselves of the guilt surrounding food, especially cultural food.
I felt like I could relate to our whole conversation, and it’s always so encouraging when your feelings are heard and validated, so I hope you’re also encouraged that you’re not the only one struggling to figure this out.
